Festival of Lights in London- DiWaLi !!!!

This was my second Diwali in London, the first Diwali was wen i stepped my foot in London,so there was nothing like Diwali, As i was still shedding my obvious tears! But dis year wen i decided to celebrate Diwali in London...it was a crazieee decision!!! The Area in which i live in is full of Indians Specially Gujju's( P.S. m a Gujju too).
Starting from Dhanteras, i prepared everything for the pooja, especially  jewellery and coins. As most of dem here knows, on Dhanteras, the assests such as jewellery n coins( gold or silver)
The above pic saws the all the things i prepared for Laxmi pujan!!! But the awful thing was, none of the Indian  celebrated it. It was as if i was the only alien in the big broad London! Dad always insisted me to be a bit religious... I gave it a try in London!!
Next  was the Diwali bang bang...no crackers no Rangoli...no sweets!! I called up almost everyone on my phone list n wished dem " Happy Diwali"..missed Diwali terribly( I neva thot i wud ). As far as i am concerned, m not at all a fan of any festival, i celebrate dem coz i get to have new clothes, loads of extra bucks n well lots of extra bucks...but in London i was terribly missing the festivals..:(
Diwali rangoli made only in my house :) But the Diwali party at night was rocking...!! But nothing religious, disco night, live muzic, dancing around wid Indian and British Mates!! Yes British attend the Diwali party by Indians. They juz love it. I wonder how wud they feel wen they wl actually witness the real Diwali In India..??
Well hopefully i will be in India for next Diwali.

New Year's Party in "Sugar n Spice" Lounge!! Wat a bloody awful way to celebrate New Year!!

Well i did not enjoy Diwali in London, juz loved the disco Parties!!
